Dodd Properties announces our newest acquisition, Pete’s Island on Maidstone Lake in Maidstone Vermont. A tiny granite covered island replete with beautiful white birch trees and nesting loons.
However the real beauty is the lake itself. There are over 800 lakes in the state of Vermont and guess what? Maidstone Lake ranks as the clearest, cleanest lake in the entire state. Just look at the aerial photo of the island and look down and see how clear the water is. The water at the end of the dock is 20 or more feet deep. The lake has some of the best trout fishing in the state.
We are in the process of renovating our cabin on the island and will be updating with images as they become available.
