Remember those lazy days of summer? Imagine... sunsets on the deck overlooking the waters of Whitins Reservoir.
Whitins Reservoir is a private reservoir only accessible to those fortunate enough to live on its shoreline. With a maximum depth of 20ft around the island and beautifully clear water with visibility up to 30ft, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Across the way from the lake house is a state forest where you can enjoy hiking and biking trails that weave through the forest for miles on end!
The Lake House is the perfect getaway for family gatherings or groups of friends looking for some good old-fashioned summer fun on a lake! This home has two master bedroom suites with baths, three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms comfortably sleeping ten with the option of renting Dodd Island for any extra guests. The living area offers an open floor plan with a kitchen that spills out into the dining and livingroom areas and a large center island with seating overlooking the lake. An after hours hideaway in the basement for a game of pool, ping pong, darts or movie night. For fun on the lake, we have paved boat landing for launching water crafts along with two floating docks. Bring your own watercraft or rent one of our pontoon boats for the length of your stay. We provide complimentary kayaks, canoes and paddle-boards for your enjoyment. So bring your friends or gather the family together for some fun on the lake!

The Lake House & Dodd Island
We spent two weeks in this beautiful home for our annual family vacation. It was our family of 15 with grandkids ages 2 to 9. The lake and it’s sandy beach and shallow water was perfect. The pontoon boat was great for our family. Jason, the property manager, could not have been more accommodating, he was great. The home is impeccable. I wish there were more stars available because we could rate is a 10 !. As a child I cherished a couple of lakeside vacations. I'm a grandpa now and have two daughters and their husbands and two grandkids (3 & 5). I've been looking for a lakeside house for a couple of years and stumbled onto this one six months ago. We were looking for the right size house and 'a little beach' for the grandkids (perfect). What we found was an incredible journey through-out the week. We never left.... Canoe, Kayas, Rowboat, dock, warm water, great weather, fantastic fishing, ect! Why leave...Charlene J. VRBO
