The Quarry House is situated on our private quarry just minutes from downtown Rockland. This incredible 950 ft long quarry offers our guests a wonderful way to enjoy swimming and kayaking without ever having to leave the property. The quarry is incredibly clear and is surrounded by high limestone cliffs and pink water lilies dotting the shoreline, a perfect setting to unwind. The house has an open floor plan with beautiful hickory hardwood flooring and exposed beams throughout. It has four decks, two of which open up to the quarry and the other two facing beautiful views of the ocean. With 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the Quarry House comfortably sleeps six. The back deck overlooking the quarry tends to be the gathering spot to grill up some fresh lobster and seafood picked up from Jess's Seafood in Rockland along with fresh local vegetables from the farmers market held on the waterfront every Thursday.. not to be missed with cheeses, breads, an amazing assortments of local greens and entertainment! If you're interested in dining out; Rockland, Camden, or Rockport have a number of eateries to enjoy from casual down home cooking to James Beard award winning chefs serving up unique delicacies! World class museums, art galleries, upscale boutiques, a bustling nightlife, hiking, biking and windjammer cruises, Rockland is a great destination for exploring the splendors of Maine.

We just loved visiting this house. Fred was a great host and he made sure our needs were met as he called us several times. We were so happy to realize the house is even prettier than the photos! My family and I felt we stayed in a beautiful home, not a place where people put out old "stuff" for renters. We loved cooking in the kitchen as everything was upscale and clean. The quarry was private, beautiful and peaceful, although I would not recommend the quarry beach for very young children. The Reardons VRBO
Great house for a couples escape! The Quarry is private and you are just minutes from center of Rockland for nightlife & great restaurants.

Great house with own private quarry pond. View of bay. Only down side is the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are one open space, no privacy. Great kitchen and plenty of decks with views. Large bathroom with great showers.
